“Focusing On Personal Growth”-Miss Universe Runner-Up

The first runner-up at the recent Miss Universe pageant, Chidimma Adetshina, has outlined her plans to prioritise personal growth and career advancement.

In an interview with BBC Pidgin, the Miss Universe Africa and Oceania explained her decision to step away from pageantry. She intends to focus on her education while pursuing acting and modelling opportunities.

“For now, I’m putting pageantry aside to concentrate on my education and establishing my identity as Chidimma,”I want to explore more opportunities in runway modelling, acting, and other areas to see how far my potential can take me.” she said.

Additionally, Chidimma described reaching the top two contestants as “an incredible moment.

“She admitted that her initial goal was to make it to the top 30 and never imagined placing in the top five.
