A devastating fire has destroyed numerous wooden structures at Circle ECOMOG in the Greater Accra region at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
The blaze caused widespread destruction, forcing many residents to scramble for safety and salvageable belongings.
According to some residents, it all happened so fast. One moment everything was normal, and the next, there was fire everywhere.
In addition, another resident lamented, “I have lost about GHS3,100 in cash and some items. I pray God and the government help us.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, but the rapid spread suggests that tightly packed wooden structures and flammable materials may have intensified the blaze.

The local authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
The Circle ECOMOG community is now dealing with the aftermath as residents sift through the charred remains of their homes, hoping to salvage what they can.
The Fire also caused a power cut in Adabraka ,New Town and its surrounding areas
