Fashion designer Bryana “Bana” Bongolan has filed a lawsuit accusing Sean “Diddy” Combs of dangling her from a 17th-floor balcony during an alleged altercation in 2016.
According to the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles, the incident occurred at the apartment of Mr. Combs’ then-girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura.
This lawsuit adds to more than two dozen allegations against Mr. Combs, including claims of sexual assault, drugging, physical harm, and witness intimidation. He is also facing federal charges for alleged racketeering and sex trafficking.
Further, Ms. Bongolan alleges that while she was on the balcony, Mr. Combs forcibly grabbed and molested her before lifting her and dangling her over the edge. She claims she struggled to resist, fearing for her life, until Ms. Ventura intervened, prompting Mr. Combs to pull her back and slam her onto patio furniture.
Ms. Bongolan, who is seeking $10 million in damages, described the incident as part of a pattern of threats, intimidation, and violence in her interactions with Mr. Combs since meeting him. She also alleges enduring “terror and abuse” during their professional collaboration on projects like a clothing line and album cover art.
The lawsuit mirrors claims in a 2023 case filed by Ms. Ventura, which alleged abuse and an eerily similar balcony incident. That case was settled a day after filing.
A judge has denied Mr. Combs bail three times, keeping him detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.
His representative maintains confidence in the judicial process, stating that the claims lack merit and the truth will come to light in court.
