Peter Fameye who is known publicly as Fameye has made a shocking revelation about his music career on live radio.
The singer who had joined a set of panels on 3Music TV to discuss his musical journey has divulged to the public how Nigeria’s Empire Music has influenced his digital appearance.
According to Fameye, he has seen a great change after exiting Empire Music and that has to do with the fact that his songs are now becoming hits on the street without topping any charts.
Being quized by Olele Savador to distinguish his time at Empire and now as an indie, Fameye swiftly answered;
“The time I was at Empire, if I related a song today, they will all be at the top 100 but now that I am doing everything myself, my songs goes viral on the streets without topping any chart” he said.
He continue to say that “even if I take a photo with my phone at the ghetto, it receives massive reactions than scheduling for a professional photoshoot. I think this is a spiritual awakened because the ghetto and the street made me and I don’t have to speed up while leaving them behind”. He added.
Fameye is a Ghanaian highlife musician who engaged the limelight after releasing “Nothing I get” some years ago.
He has been consistence with his craft, winning multiple music awards and releasing hits upon hits.
Formerly, Fameye was signed on to Njgeria based Empire music but in recent time, he’s an independent artist.
