President John Dramani Mahama urged his appointees to demonstrate humility, tolerance, and respect in their dealings with Ghanaians for a people-centred approach to governance.
After swearing in six new ministers at the presidency on Wednesday, January 22, the Mahama reaffirmed key points from his inaugural speech and stressed that his administration must meet the high expectations of citizens who entrusted them with power.
“Our actions must reflect humility and unwavering respect for the people we serve. This government will not accept arrogance or disrespect toward Ghanaians, who have placed their trust in us.”
Further, he also pointed out the growing dissatisfaction among the public with officials who ignore concerns or act arrogantly and urged his appointees to focus on the welfare and aspirations of the people.
