Felix Opoku Antwi, also known as 2pm, a former armed robber from Ghana, describes how he became involved in armed robberies in Nigeria and how he was apprehended on Angel FM, a Kumasi-based radio station.
According to Felix, he traveled to Nigeria in the early 2000s to work at of 14 years but was left all alone by the person who took him there. He then lived with someone who was an armed robber but was later killed in a robbery and he took over as the gang leader.
Later, after a successful church heist, he fled to Ghana believing he was being wanted. Felix recruited twenty-five young men upon his return to Ghana, all of whom deceased. After robbing six separate places in one day, he was later arrested.
Having subsequently been released from prison, he founded the Ex-Convict Association, whose primary goal is to house formerly incarcerated individuals who become homeless upon their release.
Felix is then pleading with Nana Kwame Bediako (Cheddar), to support them in constructing shelters for these former prisoners, as the association’s slogan is Freedom, and he too advocates for freedom.
He thinks that doing this will prevent these ex-offenders from returning to their previous criminal habits.
