E.T Mensah Body Arrives on Saturday

The late E.T. Mensah passed away in South Africa on Sunday evening after a lengthy battle with illness. His mortal remains are scheduled to arrive in Ghana on Saturday, October 7, 2023. Former long-serving Ningo-Prampram Member of Parliament Enoch Teye Mensah died at age 77.


He served in Parliament for 20 years, from 1997 to 2017, and was also the Rawlings administration’s Minister of Youth and Sports.

He was appointed Minister of Employment and Social Welfare by President John Evans Atta Mills in January 2010. He was then elected to the Council of State in February 2021 as the representative of the Greater Accra Region.

Grief at his demise has spread throughout the nation, and many people have praised his long and devoted service to the Ghanaian people.
