According to Epixode, he’s not singing any record deal anytime soon.
The Musician on HitzFm has divulged that even though he has received a lot of record deal proposals, he sees most of them having a harsh agreements.
He said that being an independent artist has been a blessing to him because he does most of the things himself without paying either a creative director, video director or any other person for a work done.
“As far as my brand is concerned, being an independent artist has been a blessing because I do most of the things myself. I don’t necessarily have to pay a creative director, video editor and the likes because I can do them myself”.
He continue to say that being an independent artist or a signed artist comes with both advantages and disadvantages but for him, he’s yet to endorse any record deal.
In his quest, he made it clear that signing a record deal is more like selling parts of your rights to a company.
“Plenty labels have approached me but their deals are a little bit harsh” he said.
