The NPP’s presidential candidate,Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, called on party members to stop the blame game and unite for the 2028 elections.
During a visit from the Korle Klottey party members at his residence, Bawumia urged them to avoid petty accusations and focus on the future.
He acknowledged that although President Mahama and the NDC won the last election, the NPP’s loss was not final.
“We lost the battle, but not the war,” he said. He noted that while the NDC’s numbers remained largely unchanged since 2020, the NPP experienced a 40% decline.
Further, Bawumia emphasised the need for unity and to work together on building for the 2028 victory.
“United we stand, divided we fall.” He expressed faith in God’s plan, recognising that God’s actions, though sometimes hard to understand, are ultimately for the greater good. He warned against the dangers of blaming others and urged the party.
