The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Mrs Jean Mensa in addressing Parliament has assured Ghanaians the Electoral Commission will uphold transparency in the December elections.
In response to inquiries from Members of Parliament on Friday, July 19, Mrs Mensa emphasized the Commission’s dedication to conducting free, fair, and transparent elections.
“From registration to declaration, we will build our processes on transparency, transparency, transparency.We will continue to operate with transparency, fairness, and integrity as our guiding principles,” she affirmed.
Mrs Mensa highlighted that the Commission is implementing all necessary measures to maintain the integrity of the electoral process.
Her appearance in Parliament comes amid heightened scrutiny and public interest in the electoral process, with various stakeholders demanding accountability and transparency in the lead-up to the elections.
