The Electoral Commission (EC) has affirmed the 2024 voters’ register as reliable and robust, urging the public to disregard contrary claims.
In a Wednesday social media post, the EC highlighted the register’s integrity and called for ignoring allegations that it is unsuitable for the upcoming elections.
This response addresses the National Democratic Congress (NDC) criticism, which claimed the register is flawed and requires a forensic audit or parliamentary review to validate its adequacy for the December 7 election, according to NDC IT and Elections Director Dr Edward Omane Boamah.
