Dr Likee Reveal Past Involvement In Illicit Drug Trade

Ghanaian actor and skit maker, Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi, known as Dr. Likee, has revealed his past involvement in the illicit drug trade.

In an interview with Emelia Brobbey on her Okukuseku show, Dr. Likee shared that after dropping out of secondary school, he struggled with life and worked as a scrap dealer before becoming a land guard.

According to him, he was introduced to selling drugs by a man he described as his boss, who had returned from the United States.

“I was desperate for money and employment, so I joined the drug trade, which allowed me to live a luxurious lifestyle. “He said

Dr likee further recounted how he even advisedex-convicts to avoid armed robbery and instead sell drugs, as it was less likely to result in death.

“I would introduce former prisoners to the drug business rather than thievery, emphasizing that dealing drugs was more lucrative and less dangerous than robbery.

Despite the profitability, he admitted to being arrested severally and convicted six times due to betrayals by his friends.
