The vice president, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, pledged to simplify the passport application process if elected president.
During his campaign tour in the Greater Accra Region on September 1, he explained that obtaining a passport would be straightforward.
That is applicants would only need to pay the required fee and present their Ghana card, removing the need for additional forms.
In addition, Dr Bawumia also urged the public to seek peace during the election period, emphasizing the importance of prayer and non-violence.
