Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has pledged to complete the stalled National Cathedral project if elected president.
During his August 25 engagement with a journalist, he highlighted that state funds have already gone into its construction, thus underscoring the need to complete the project.
Initially viewed as a personal commitment by President Akufo-Addo, the National Cathedral has faced controversy due to the allocation of over GHC 339 million in state funds.
As a result, Bawumia stressed the importance of holding further discussions with churches and stakeholders to decide the best way to advance the project.
