The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia highlighted the government’s success in implementing transformative policies that have significantly benefitted the nation.
During his tour of the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem constituency, Dr Bawumia addressed chiefs and stakeholders, showcasing the NPP government’s positive impact on various sectors of Ghanaian society through initiatives like the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy, the restoration of teacher and nursing trainee allowances, and measures to prevent fuel shortages.
“We have not only introduced the Free SHS policy but have also established free technical and vocational education to equip our people with essential skills.
Moreover , we have restored the teacher and nursing trainee allowances and enhanced the National Health Insurance Scheme. Additionally, the NHIS now covers childhood cancer, sickle cell patients, and kidney dialysis.”
Further, Dr Bawumia also emphasised the NPP’s commitment to tackling challenges in healthcare, education, and energy, presenting these accomplishments as clear evidence of the party’s dedication to improving the lives of Ghanaians.
