Veteran Ghanaian actress Adwoa Smart has refuted rumours that former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia gifted her a house.
In an interview with Accra FM, she labelled the claims as false and blamed bloggers for spreading fake news.
“It’s a lie. Dr. Bawumia has never gifted me a house. I’ve not received a house gift from anyone,” she stated firmly.
Further, Adwoa Smart also clarified that she has met Dr Bawumia only once, at the funeral of veteran musician Nana Ampadu, and has never asked for favours from him or anyone else.
“By God’s grace, I’m comfortable. I’m not where I want to be, but I’m content. I’ve never asked anyone for anything,” she added.
