Davido’s First Public Reaction Scares Many After Son’s Death

Since learning the devastating news of the passing of his three-year-old son Ifeanyi, Davido has been silent.

According to insiders, the Nigerian musician has been devastated and distraught ever since the tragic occurrence that occurred on the evening of October 31, 2022.

The singer’s crew has not responded, but a search of his social media accounts shows his next course of action.

Following the passing of his only kid, Davido unpinned numerous Instagram posts, including one announcing a concert this month.

According to insiders, Puma, who also had a contract with Davido to officially reveal its highly anticipated collection this week, has rescheduled to a later date.

A.W.A.Y, Davido’s highly anticipated American Festival, which was originally planned to take place on November 18, 2022 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, has also been postponed.

Fans are left to wonder if the festival has been postponed or cancelled. The festival would have included artists like Kizz Daniel, Wande Coal, Lojay, Pheelz, Oxlade, BNXN (also known as Buju), Focalistc, and Victony.

The son of Davido and Chioma, Ifeanyi Adeleke, was said to have perished in the family’s private pool at their home in Lagos.

According to a family member, “The boy stayed inside water for too long and they pulled him out and transported him to the hospital.” The insider said, speaking on condition of anonymity, “By the time they brought him to Lagoon Hospital it was already too late.”

Police have detained the child’s babysitter and chef to help with their investigations into the cause of death.
