Endurance, a talented Nigerian-born Ghanaian professional dancer, recently shared in an interview that she believes the world of dancing found her, rather than the other way around. Speaking on Showbiz 360 with Giovanni Caleb on Friday, July 14, Endurance expressed her belief that the dancing space sought her out three years ago. She also discussed the role of music in her dance routines and highlighted some of the projects she has worked on.

Endurance, whose full name is Endurance Dzigbordi Dedzo, explained during the interview that dancing came to her naturally and unexpectedly. She stated, “Dancing found me. I didn’t find dancing. That was 3 years ago. Dancing was looking for Endurance in the corners and it found me.” This revelation suggests that Endurance’s innate talent and passion for dance were recognized and nurtured by the dance industry itself.

Endurance also acknowledged the impact of her association with Dance With a Purpose (DWP), a renowned dance group. She emphasized that DWP receives credit for the projects they undertake. Specifically, she mentioned their involvement in the creation of choreography for songs such as “Patek” by Mr. Eazi and “Overdose” by Mavins in Nigeria. Endurance’s collaboration with DWP has allowed her to contribute her skills to high-profile music projects and gain recognition for her talent.

During her three-year journey in the entertainment industry as a professional dancer, Endurance has managed to grow her fan base worldwide. In addition to her popularity in Ghana, she revealed that she has garnered a strong following in Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, and the United States. Endurance has even had the opportunity to showcase her talent in countries like South Africa and Dubai. Her increasing global reach attests to the universal appeal and recognition of her dance performances.
