Running mate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, claims that the current NPP administration has built more roads than any other government in Ghana’s Fourth Republic.
In a media engagement , Dr Opoku Prempeh stated that the government has allocated a significant portion of its borrowed funds to road construction.
He also highlighted other infrastructure and development projects undertaken by the administration.
Dr Prempeh pointed out their successful implementation of the National Identification System with the Ghana card, the construction of additional railways, and the enhancement of infrastructure in Zongo communities, surpassing any previous government in the Fourth Republic.
Further, Dr Prempeh argued that the Akufo-Addo-led administration has outperformed all past presidents.
He urged party members to support the NPP under Dr Bawumia for a decisive victory in the 2024 elections and emphasised that the current administration has achieved unprecedented milestones, including the construction of 111 hospitals, numerous schools, and several universities.
