COPEC Predicts Slight Fuel Price Drop In November 16.

Written by Sarah Boye

The Chamber of Petroleum Consumers (COPEC) predicts a slight drop in fuel prices as the second pricing window of November opens on Saturday, November 16.

According to reports, COPEC projects a 5.06% reduction in petrol prices, bringing the current average of GHȼ14.30 per litre down to a range of GHȼ12.90 to GHȼ14.26 per litre.

Diesel prices will decrease by 3.88%, reducing from an average of GHȼ15.16 per litre to a range of GHȼ13.85 to GHȼ15.31 per litre.

Fuel prices have seen significant hikes in recent months. For instance, state-owned GOIL raised diesel prices from GHȼ14.90 per litre in October’s second pricing window to GHȼ15.45 per litre in the first pricing window of November.

COPEC’s forecast brings hope to consumers burdened by these increases, reflecting shifts in global oil prices and exchange rate fluctuations.
