Black Stars coach Otto Addo has visited Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and his teammate Jordan Ayew, who has fully recovered from injury.
Issahaku, currently undergoing rehabilitation, will miss the rest of the season due to a serious knee injury he suffered during Ghana’s Matchday Five match against Angola in Luanda. The injury also rules him out of Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar in March 2024.
Meanwhile, Jordan Ayew has made a full recovery and rejoined Leicester City after overcoming an injury sustained in Ghana’s AFCON qualifier against Angola on November 16, 2024.
Addo’s visit highlights his commitment to supporting both the physical well-being and progression of national team players, whether they are playing or recovering.
