Chef Smith Sets New Guinness World Record For Longest Solo Cooking Marathon

Ghanaian Chef Smith, known privately as Ebenezer Smith, has set a new Guinness World Record for the longest solo cooking marathon.

Chef Smith announced this achievement during a press conference at the La Palm Beach Hotel on Tuesday, July 2.

During the news conference, Chef Smith expressed his gratitude, stating,

“I am deeply humbled and honoured to announce that I am now the new world record holder for the cook-a-thon.”

He embarked on this challenge following an unsuccessful attempt by another another Ghanaian chef, Failatu.

His cooking marathon began on February 1, 2024, and lasted for 820 hours, concluding on March 6, 2024, despite initially aiming for 1,200 hours.
