The founder and leader of the New Force, Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Cheddar, has gifted two sheep and 50 kente garments to Ga Mantse, Nii Tackie Teiku Tsuru II, to symbolise harmony and togetherness.

During a formal visit to the palace, Cheddar stated that this gesture aims to promote peace and unity in the Greater Accra Region and is also part of his preparations for the December elections.

He said, “I present two sheep, 50 kente garments, and drinks. The sheep are named Peace and Unity, symbolising my vision for harmony and togetherness in the Greater Accra Region. I believe in Ga Mantse’s ability to foster this unity with his support.

“Our children are one, our land is one, and our homes and even the waters around us are one, so let’s continue to allow peace and unity to reign among us.”

He emphasised that for the country to progress, hope and unity are essential. He noted that the youth look to leaders for guidance and stressed that leadership is not determined by age but by qualities such as grace, wisdom, glory, knowledge, courage, and connection.

Cheddar encouraged the youth to take on leadership roles and urged both the council members and the youth to unite and support his efforts.
