The Grammy-winning artist Ed Sheeran has opened up about his experience with the “Burna Boy” smoking incident.
The British rock musician claims that the self-described African giant is the only person he has ever met who uses marijuana so heavily.
In an interview with the podcast, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, Sheeran shared his thoughts about Burna, a frequent partner.
The vocalist of “Shape of You” remembers being utterly perplexed when she first entered the studio due to Burna Boy’s smoking-related air pollution.
“There’s an artiste that I work quite a lot with called Burna Boy. I would say he is… That’s the most I’ve seen anyone ingest weed.
“He came to the studio and I had a gig late on in the night. And it was very much chilled there, the door was closed. It was just smokes, smokes, smokes… And I remember walking in there to get a thing. It felt like I was not quite there [laughs].”
