The broken section of President Akufo-Addo’s statue at the Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital in Sekondi has been fully fix, restoring the monument to its original condition.
The statue, which was uncover on November 6 to honour the president, had a visible hole in the back of one of its legs. Although the exact cause of the damage remains unclear, some speculate it could have been intentional vandalism, especially after local residents threatened to remove the statue.
A viral social media video confirms that workers have successfully repaired the statue.
