It has been reveal that renowned Ghanaian poet and author Ama Ata Aidoo passed away following a brief illness.
The renowned author passed away on May 31, 2023, a Wednesday.
Ama Ata Aidoo was a poet, playwright, academic, and author from Ghana. She achieved international acclaim as one of the most well-known African authors of the 20th and 21st century with a career spanning more than five decades.
