Popular crossdresser Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, has returned from prison after serving time for defacing naira notes.
In a social media post, he celebrated his release by dancing to Mohbad’s and Chike’s song “Egwu” in a video posted on social media. Consequently, his friends cheered, “We are out of prison. Congratulations, Bobrisky.”
Furthermore, Bobrisky took the opportunity to advise Nigerians to respect the naira and adhere to the law.
He warned,
“Don’t spray money unless you want to end up in Kirikiri prison. Even minor offences can lead to imprisonment.”
Earlier, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had convicted Bobrisky on April 5 for naira abuse.
At the Federal High Court in Lagos, Bobrisky admitted his guilt before Justice A.O. Awogboro.
