Otto Addo, the head coach of the Black Stars, has selected Germany as the team he believes will win the Qatar 2022 World Cup, ahead of the Black Stars.
In their opening match of the competition, Japan surprised the Die Mannschaft, losing 2-1 despite leading at the break on Wednesday at Khalifa International Stadium.
In their second Group E match on Sunday night at Al Bayt Stadium, Germany will encounter a tough opponent in Spain.
Spain, Japan, and Costa Rica all have three points, but Hansi Flick’s team is presently last in the group with zero points.
Otto Addo, a native of Hamburg, acknowledges that Germany has a poor chance of winning the Qatar World Cup, but he still hopes for success.
the World Cup to be won? Phew! Normally, I’d prefer to support Germany, but the situation does not favor them right now, Addo said at a press conference.
"Who will win the World Cup?"
