Black Stars To Begin AFCON Qualifiers Training On November 10

Written by Sarah Boye

The Black Stars of Ghana will begin their training camp in Accra on Sunday, November 10, to prepare for the final two matches of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

A 25-man squad will assemble at the Accra Sports Stadium for practice sessions before travelling to Luanda on Wednesday, November 13, to face Angola in an away match. The team will play Angola on Friday, November 15, at the Estádio 11 de Novembro.

After the game, the Black Stars will return to Accra to host Niger in their final group fixture on Monday, November 18, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Ghana currently sits third in Group F with two points from four matches, trailing second-place Sudan by five points and leaders Angola by ten.

To stay in contention for AFCON qualification, the Black Stars must win their remaining two games and rely on Sudan dropping points.

However, even a single draw in Sudan’s final matches would end Ghana’s hopes, halting their bid for their first AFCON appearance in two decades.
