This advancement follows their consecutive victories in the World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic.
Moreover, Ghana’s national team now sits just above Cape Verde, who defeated them in AFCON 2023 and reached their first-ever quarterfinals.
The Black Stars’ recent rise in the rankings highlights their success in the ongoing World Cup qualifiers, where they currently trail Comoros by a slim goal difference.
