Blakk Rasta, also known as Abubakar Ahmed, has already returned awards he has earned.
These awards were given to him by popular voting. Blakk Rasta stated he doesn’t want to take part in any award programs that include voting.
In a post that was visible to us, the outspoken media figure told the Ghana DJs Trophies organizers of his intention to return their awards.
He continued by saying that selling honors to the highest bidder didn’t seem moral to him.
The host of 3FM admitted that maintaining the plaques did not make him proud.
Blakk Rasta requests that his name be removed from any upcoming award programs until the corruption problem is resolved.
