The Black Maidens defeated Ivory Coast 5-0 in Thursday’s semi-final of the 2024 WAFU Zone B U17 Girls Cup in Prampram, securing their spot in the final.
Christina Ashiaku delivered an outstanding performance, scoring just 14 minutes into the match and completing a first-half hat trick to give Ghana a 3-0 lead at halftime. Her efforts left Ivory Coast with little hope of a comeback.
In addition, Ayantoya and Seidatu Wahab added two more goals, ensuring a dominant 5-0 victory.
