Ghanaian sprinter Benjamin Azamati has generously donated GH¢10,000 to traders affected by the devastating fire that struck Kantamanto Market on January 1, 2025.
The national 100m record holder, expressed deep empathy for the victims, highlighting the importance of community support during difficult times.
According to him, his donation aims to assist traders in rebuilding their businesses and recovering from the severe financial losses caused by the blaze.
The fire, which destroyed more than 60% of the market, displaced many traders and resulted in substantial financial setbacks, according to reports.
