Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has launched CitizenApp, a mobile application designed to enhance public service delivery and citizen engagement.
According to him, the app offers a centralised platform for accessing government services, reporting issues, and receiving real-time updates on public matters.
Further, Dr Bawumia described it as a personalised tool for all Ghanaians, aimed at improving access to services and providing instant, important information.
Moreover, he also emphasised its potential to reduce bureaucracy, enhance transparency, and promote accountability in government operations.
“Ghana is moving in a direction that even many advanced countries have not yet reached. Once fully implemented, this system will make conducting business, paying taxes, obtaining passports, and registering businesses much easier and smoother,” he noted.
He added that the app would simplify life for citizens and allow the government to communicate directly with the public.
