The vice presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyeman has urged voters to back the NDC in the upcoming elections to safeguard and improve free education.
Addressing a crowd at Zurak Park in Madina on December 5, she stressed that voting for change is the only way to build the Ghana people deserve. She described the NDC’s flagbearer, John Mahama, as “experienced, respectful, dependable,” and fully capable of enhancing the Free Senior High School (Free SHS) program.
“The government is implementing the Free SHS policy poorly, but Mahama will fix it,” she said.
Further, she also condemned the government for mismanagement, highlighting cases where retirees were denied access to their hard-earned investments, and called on Ghanaians to vote the NPP out.
