Asamoah Gyan, the former captain of the Black Stars and a Ghana international, has been ordered to commit the sum of GH˖25,000 a month for the upkeep and welfare of his three children with his former wife, Gifty.
In addition, Gyan have to compensate his ex-wife with a home in the United Kingdom, another four bedrooms house in Ghana, a petrol station and a few vehicles.
The Accra High Court, which has been hearing the couple’s divorce lawsuit for the previous three years, issued a number of orders on Tuesday, October 31st.
Gyan’s denial of the children’s paternity caused the couple to split up, but the court confirmed on Tuesday that Gyan is Gifty’s biological father.
The GHʼ25,000 allocated for the well-being and maintenance of the three kids excludes other costs associated with their up-keep, such as airfare for travel, medical and dental care payments, and educational expenses.
