Ghanaian rapper Medikal has opened up about his decision to disconnect from social media and sever ties with his management team.
In a recent interview, he revealed that during his separation from his ex-wife and while navigating co-parenting, he opted to step away from the public eye.
Medikal explained, “It wasn’t a lie; I took out my SIM and blocked my manager as well.”
Despite the personal challenges, he reassured fans about his commitment to co-parenting, stating,
“Her mom is taking good care of her; we are all taking good care of her.”
Further, when asked why he had been so open about the details of his separation, Medikal said,
“That is the best way to ease my pain—to be vocal. I’m like, Yo, this is what it is. Everybody should shut up, listen to me, and then move on.”
