President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo has swore in three public servants as new Ambassadors-at-Large at the Jubilee House.
During the ceremony, he appointed Deputy Chief of Staff Fawaz Aliu and assigned Major General Charles Kojo Abedi Awity as Ghana’s Ambassador to Serbia.
Meanwhile, Mr Peprah Ampratwum will serve as Ambassador In-Situ, a role that requires consistent presence and active involvement in key events and decision-making processes.
Following these appointments, President Akufo-Addo expressed his confidence in the appointees’ ability to excel in their new roles and enhance Ghana’s diplomatic efforts worldwide.
Furthermore, he urged them to build international relationships and seek investment opportunities for the country.
