President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has asserted that his government has performed admirably despite challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking at the 13th Biennial and 51st Conference of the Methodist Church of Ghana in Kumasi, Akuffo Addo emphasised the administration’s significant achievements across various economic sectors and further urged Ghanaians to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to continue the work started by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.
“I can confidently say that I have not betrayed the mandate given to me by the people of Ghana on two occasions,” he stated. He expressed his appreciation for the support from the public and the church and offered thanks to Almighty God for his grace.
“I hope you will extend the same level of cooperation to my successor, God willing, my Vice President, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and his dynamic running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, affectionately known here in Kumasi as NAPO,” he added.
