Akonoba Foundation Gala Dinner 2024: A Night Of Hope And Unity

The Akonoba Foundation, founded by Miss Helena Tenkorang, also known as Nana Ama Akonoba, will host its Gala Dinner on September 14, 2024, in New York.

The event aims to highlight the importance of mental health and the urgent need for accessible services across the United States while also raising significant funds for the Foundation’s upcoming major initiative—the Akonoba Center in Ghana.

In addition to raising awareness and funds, the Gala will offer entertainment, psycho-education, and opportunities for diaspora communities to connect, exchange ideas, and build lasting relationships.

The guest list features notable figures such as the New York Asantefuohene Nana Attakora Amaniampong Okoawia, the Adesheman Association, the Kwahuman Association, the Royal FAN Club, the Ghanaian Health Care Workers Association, and the Executive Ladies—all underscoring the importance of collective effort in achieving the Foundation’s goals.

The Akonoba Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, envisions a world where every person has the opportunity to live a better life.
