Aisha Modi and Diamond Appiah Continues Their Legal Battle on An Alleged $30K Fraud.
Controversial Diamond Appiah, a Ghanaian socialite, has been charged with ‘fraudulent transaction in a land deal’ by an Accra Circuit court.
This comes after she was dragged to court by Ayisha Modi, who allegedly discovered she had been duped.
Diamond Appiah allegedly took US$30,000 from Aisha Modi under the guise of securing a plot of land in Accra’s East Legon neighborhood.
Ms. Appiah was arraigned before Evelyn Asamoah’s court on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, and was granted bail in the amount of GH300,000 with two sureties.
The case has been rescheduled for February 8, 2023, after she pleaded not guilty.
