Afia Schwarzenegger, an actress and comedian from Ghana, has apologized in writing to the Tema High Court after being found guilty of contempt of court and given a ten-day jail sentence.
Afia Schwarzenegger delivers an official apology in response to a court contempt lawsuit brought by Business mogul Chairman Wotumi.
This followed some derogatory remarks she had made about Chairman Wontumi of the NPP’s Ashanti Region, Bernard Antwi Boasiako.
One may recall that Afia Schwar appeared as a guest on the UTV show United Showbiz months ago.
Wontumi was not pleased with the accusations the contentious actress made about him. This prompted him to sue Afia Schwar in court.
A-Plus, a guest on United Showbiz, and host Nana Ama McBrown were each fined when it was determined that they had contributed to the sad event.
But even though the court cancelled the bench warrant for Afia Schwar’s arrest, she hasn’t yet fulfilled the 10-day jail sentence.
The actress has asked the court to pardon her behavior and has acknowledged that her acts and demeanor on United Showbiz were improper.
She pledged to behave better in public going forward.
