Ghanaian Highlife musician Adane Best, known as Joseph Amoah, has chosen to forgive Kuami Eugene after previously accusing him of copyright infringement.
In a recent interview , the hitmaker revealed that Kuami Eugene had sampled melodies from multiple songs of his. However, he has decided to move on from the issue.
“Anyone who truly understands music can recognise when a sound or melody is from another piece. He has sampled several of my songs, not just one, but I prefer not to discuss it publicly. It’s an old matter, and I’d rather not dwell on it; let’s just forget about it,” he stated.
Additionally,Adane Best asserted
“I have forgiven him. I’ve made mistakes in the past, so when someone wrongs me, like Kuami Eugene, I let it go,” he added.
This statement follows Adane Best’s earlier claims in 2018 and 2020 that Kuami Eugene’s music was influence by his original works.
