Veteran actress Christiana Awuni has revealed her longstanding affiliation with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during an interview on United Showbiz.
She admitted hesitating to publicly declare her political stance for fear of industry repercussions, recalling warnings from producers to steer clear of John Dramani Mahama and the NDC after attending the President’s funeral.
With the decline in movie industry activity, she now feels unconcerned about public opinion and proudly acknowledges her political allegiance.
Ms Awuni also praised Mahama’s contributions to Ghana during his presidency.
