The resolution to reprimand Minister of Finance Ken Ofori-Atta was introduced by the Minority Leader in Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu.
Alexander Afenyo-Markin, the deputy majority leader, has submitted a preliminary opposition to the move, though.
Both sides have responded to this in the following.
After hearing from all parties, the Speaker will rule on the Majority’s preliminary objection, which claims that the motion is unfair and unjust and implies that the Finance Minister is guilty of a crime.
