Ghanaian reggae artist Ras Kuuku on live radio has redefined what it means to be a Gospel Musician.
According to him, he sees himself a Gospel Musician because he makes good songs.
He went ahead to say that a Gospel music shouldn’t necessarily has the name of “Jesus” instead, every good song is Gospel related.
Sitting with Doreen Avio on Hitz Fm, the “3.3.1” music maker has revealed that when he dropped “Nobody Dey Like You” people thought he is in a race with the Gospel singer but rescinded that he’s not here to contest with the Gospel performers.
“I am not here to contest the gospel musicians. When ‘Nobody Dey Like You’ dropped, some of the gospel musicians were shaking. But I am not here to contest them. I am a reggae/dancehall artist”.
Ras Kuuku on 17th December 2022 at the Dome Park, Accra will host a tons of reggae and Dancehall music lovers for this year’s Puom Fest.
The outdoor musical concert will have the reception of top musicians including Tiny, KwabenaKwabena, Iwan, Jupiter, and among others.
