The ministry of interior declared Friday, December 2, 2022 as a public holiday to be observed by Ghanaians across the country
The day which marks Farmer’s Day is a stator public holiday and is observed as such throughout the country.
This is a daybed aside to appreciate recignize and honour Ghanain farmers and Fisher folk in the various regions.
This is due to their efforts in the promotion of agriculture and food production.
In 2021, the National Farmer’s Day was celebrated in Cape Coast, Central Region.
[02/12, 08:51] Gideon: The 38th edition of the National Farmer’s Day is scheduled to come off in the Eastern Regional Capital, Koforidua – Jubilee Park to be precise.
The celebration seen its commencement on Tuesday, November 29, with an agricultural fair and exhibition.
The event will be climaxed with an award ceremony on Friday, December 2nd.
The president, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo, remains the Special guest of honour.
