37-year-old onion seller and mother of three, with name Maame Bee, died tragically after being electrocuted at Assin Dansame in the Assin North District of the Central Region.
Sources report that she accidentally touched a live electricity cable while attempting to lift it off the ground. When her children came home, they discovered her lifeless body on the floor.
Fearing electrocution, they avoided touching her and raised an alarm instead. Neighbours quickly arrived at the scene and saw her lifeless body.
Police officers from the Assin North District Police Command have transported the body to the Assin Fosu Hospital mortuary for autopsy and preservation.
