A 30-year-old taxi driver named Akwesi Yeboah tragically lost his life in a hotel room at Kasoa, Akweley, while lodging with his girlfriend.
Mr Yeboah, who was married with children, had been dating his girlfriend for months without any sexual contact, despite her repeated extortion attempts, according to his friends.
On Sunday, they decided to meet at the Happy Guest House to get intimate for the first time. However, during the encounter, Yeboah suddenly became unresponsive.
His girlfriend, noticing he had stopped moving and appeared exhausted with his eyes wide open, immediately sought help from the hotel manager and other guests.
The lady is currently in police custody, assisting with investigations into the incident.
