Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, a founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has called the 2024 election results a “people’s revolution” against the Akufo-Addo administration’s governance.
Speaking on TV3 on Friday, December 13, 2024, he asserted that the outcome highlighted Ghanaians’ frustration and demand for change.
“This election was a people’s revolution. The results show that it is not about political parties but a strong message from citizens frustration.
Further, he urged politicians to take lessons from the NPP’s defeat, warning against dismissing public concerns.
“This is a clear warning to the political class. Leaders cannot continue to take Ghanaians for granted. Anyone who takes charge of this country must deliver, or the nation risks falling into chaos,” he cautioned.
Additionally, Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe also called for a leadership overhaul within the NPP, arguing that the party’s current structure no longer reflects its core values and true image.
